Join us to celebrate Valentines.

14th, 15th, 16th , 17th February- Valentines Meal. 

£59.95 per couple includes three course meal and welcome drink.

£185 package- Valentines Meal, B&B, Bottle of prosecco and chocolates in room.  £205 for Feature rooms.

Menu:

Starters 

Bloody Mary soup with crostini.

Crab and king prawn tian on a mixed tapenade with Marie rose foam and cucumber jelly.

Wood pigeon breast, parsnip puree, black pudding & Yorkshire blue parfait, red wine jus, spinach salad.

Wild mushrooms in a garlic cream towered with toasted brioche.

Hot board of Yorkshire cheese (for two) breaded brie, baked goats cheese, Yorkshire blue fondant, celery batons, carrot straws, poppy seed poles, homemade bread, onion chutney.

Mains

Venison wellington with a fruit and nut stuffing, served with fondant potatoes and a red wine and chocolate sauce. 

Pork loin stuffed with apples and black pudding, served with caramelised apples, creamy mashed potato, braised red cabbage and Cumberland sauce.

Pan fried sea bass with a panache of pak choi, potatoes, courgette, water chestnuts and red onions with a soy and citrus dressing.

Yorkshire chicken supreme, stuffed with spinach with fondant potatoes, bacon and mushroom concas, blue cheese cream.

Plate of root. Beetroot and squash risotto, beetroot tart Tatin, puree, parsnip pannacotta, watercress, sundried tomato and feta salad.

BY PRE-ORDER - Chateaubriand for two, with mushrooms, roasted tomatoes, béarnaise sauce, rocket and parmesan salad and angel hair fries (£30 supplement for two dining)

Black forest torte, black cherry ice cream, chocolate mousse, kirche cherries and Chantilly cream.

Saturday 24th February- Murder Mystery.

£25 pp Three course meal with entertainment. 

Menu:

Trio of starters – Bloody Mary soup with crouton, mini king prawn cocktail with Marie rose and deep-fried brie with cranberry and onion chutney.

Main: Yorkshire chicken supreme, stuffed with spinach, presented with fondant potatoes, bacon and mushroom concasse and red wine jus.

Dessert: Death by chocolate - double chocolate brownie, hot chocolate shot, chocolate truffle, chocolate ice-cream and chocolate mousse.

 

Saturday 24th March- Wine tasting with Tate Smith.

 

5 courses with a glass of wine per course £45 pp.

£210 package- Event, room, B&B per couple. 

£20 extra for a Feature room.

Amuse Bouche.

Scottish coast lobster & Greenland prawn’s cocktail.

Cucumber jelly, basil & tomato cream, micro salad, roast lobster & lemon oil.

Gin and Lavender sorbet.

Seared Yorkshire beef fillet.

Braised shin, horseradish gnocchi, carrot puree, red wine confit shallot.

Rich homemade fruit cake with Wensleydale and cranberry cheese.
